Stove Installation Services
Whatever solid fuel appliance you're planning, it needs signing off by someone who can self-certify against Building Regulations. Every job here is carried out by our HETAS-registered installation partner.
-
A wood-burning stove needs the right flue, the right clearances, and the right paperwork. Our partner surveys your chimney or plans a twin-wall flue route, fits an Ecodesign Ready stove of your choice, and self-certifies the job against Approved Document J — no separate call to Building Control.
-
Multi-fuel stoves burn wood and approved smokeless fuels, which matters if you're in a smoke control area and want flexibility on what you burn. Installation follows the same process as a wood-burner, with a grate and ashpan suited to solid fuel.
-
Already got a stove fitted — by a previous owner, a builder, or yourself — with no paperwork to show for it? Our partner inspects the installation and, where it meets current standards, issues retrospective certification. Where it doesn't, they'll tell you exactly what needs fixing.
-
Most chimneys built before the 1960s aren't lined, and even lined ones degrade over time. Our partner fits flexible stainless steel liners or twin-wall systems sized correctly for your appliance, improving draw and safety.
-
Stoves need an annual sweep and safety check to keep drawing properly and burning safely. Our partner checks seals, rope, firebricks, and the flue, and sweeps the chimney.
-
Opening up a blocked fireplace or renovating an old surround before fitting a stove. Our partner clears the chamber, checks the chimney's condition, and prepares it for a compliant install.
